POWERGRID is engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning, coordination, supervision, and control over the complete Inter-State Transmission System. It operates around 1,76,109 ckm Transmission Lines along with 275 Sub-stations and wheels about 50% of the total power generated in the country through its transmission network. POWERGRID also owns and operates approximately 82,294 kms of Telecom Network.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Full-Time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) from a recognized University/Institute in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of 31.12.2023

GATE 2024:

• Candidates should have a valid score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2024.
