PGIMER Chandigarh is inviting applications for 08 Field Investigator positions under an ICMR/National Health Mission (NHM)-funded research project. These positions are temporary and contractual with a fixed tenure, subject to extension based on project requirements and candidate performance.Â

Vacancy & Pay Scale:
Applications are invited for a total of 08 vacant posts.
- Salary (Consolidated): ₹35,000/-
- Project Location: Ambala, Haryana
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification:
- BPH/B.Sc. Nursing/GNM
- Proficiency in conducting Blood Sugar Testing via Glucometer, Hb Testing via Hemoglobinometer, and Blood Pressure Measurement via Automated BP Apparatus.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word and Excel.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Prior experience in field-based research, community health surveys, or public health programs.
- Proficiency in local languages (Hindi/Punjabi).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of:
- Shortlisting of Applications
- Written Test (If Required, Based on Number of Applicants)
- Interview (Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email)
- Final Merit List Based on Interview Performance
Note: The written test will be conducted on 10th February 2025, only if the number of eligible applicants is high.
