POWERGRID, a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning, coordination, supervision, and control over complete Inter-State Transmission Systems and operation of national & regional power grids.

To take the growth curve to further heights, POWERGRID is looking for Bright, Committed, and Energetic engineering graduates to join its fold as ENGINEER TRAINEEs tentatively in the disciplines of Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Computer Science through GATE 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Engineer (Survey Engineering)

• Educational Qualification: Full-Time Diploma in Survey Engineering or Civil Engineering with Survey as a subject.
• Age Limit: Up to 31 years as of August 29, 2024.

Surveyor

• Educational Qualification: Full-Time ITI in Surveying.
• Age Limit: Up to 32 years as of August 29, 2024.

Draughtsman

• Educational Qualification: Full-Time ITI in Draughtsman Civil or Architectural Draughtsman.
• Age Limit: Up to 32 years as of August 29, 2024.

Pay Scale

• Junior Engineer (Survey Engineering): Rs. 26,000 – 1,18,000 per month.
• Surveyor and Draughtsman: Rs. 22,000 – 85,000 per month.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the PGCIL Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024 involves the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Technical/Professional Knowledge Test: This section will assess your knowledge in the relevant technical field.
