NTPC Recruitment 2025: NTPC Limited has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill up GDMO and Medical Specialist Posts through NTPC’s official notification in February 2025. NTPC is one of India’s largest power companies and a leading public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power. Established in 1975, NTPC has played a crucial role in the nation’s power generation, primarily focusing on thermal power plants while also expanding into renewable energy, hydroelectric, and nuclear projects.

NTPC GDMO and Medical Specialist Recruitment 2025 Vacancy & Salary Details:

Online applications are invited for a total of 81 vacant posts under the following categories:

• GDMO: The pay scale is Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 per month.
• Medical Specialist (E3): The monthly salary ranges from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000.
• Medical Specialist (E4): The pay scale per month is Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000.

NTPC GDMO and Medical Specialist Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

NTPC Qualification Details:

• GDMO: Must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized University or Institution.
• Physician: Should have an MD or DNB in General Medicine.
• Pediatrician: Required qualification is an MD or DNB in Pediatrics, or an MBBS accompanied by a PG Diploma in Child Health.
• Radiologist: Must have completed an MD or DNB in Radiology, or hold an MBBS along with a PG Diploma in Radiology.
• Orthopedics: Applicants should have an MS or DNB in Orthopedics, or an MBBS with a PG Diploma in Orthopedics.
• Ophthalmologist: Must be qualified with an MD, MS, or DNB in Ophthalmology, or possess an MBBS and a PG Diploma in Ophthalmology.
• O&G: Required qualifications include an MD, MS, or DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or an MBBS with a PG Diploma in O&G.
• ENT: Should have an MD, MS, or DNB in ENT, or hold an MBBS together with a PG Diploma in ENT.

NTPC Experience Requirements:

• For GDMO: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required after completing an MBBS (excluding the internship period).
• For Medical Specialists:
  • E4 Grade: Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience after completing their MD, MS, or DNB.
  • E3 Grade: Applicants can either be fresh MD/MS/DNB graduates or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience after an MBBS along with a PG Diploma in the relevant specialty. Additionally, candidates recruited in the E3 grade who hold an MD/MS/DNB qualification will be elevated to the E4 grade after completing 1 year of experience.

NTPC Age Limit Details:

• The upper age limit for candidates is 37 years, with applicable relaxations provided as per government norms.
