NTA UGC-NET December 2024

The UGC-NET December 2024, conducted by NTA, is a nationwide eligibility test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor roles in Indian universities and colleges. The exam will be held online from January 1 to 19, 2025, covering 85 subjects.

Exam Details:

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Subjects: 85 disciplines.
• Duration: 3 hours (single session).
• Type of Questions: Objective (MCQs).

Eligibility:

1. Educational Qualification:
   • A Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
   • Candidates appearing for their final exams can also apply.
2. Age Limit:
   • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum 30 years (as of December 1, 2024). Relaxation for reserved categories as per UGC norms.
   • Assistant Professor: No age limit.

How to Apply:

1. Visit the official website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Complete the registration by providing personal and academic details.
3. Upload required documents (photograph, signature, certificates).
4. Pay the application fee online using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
5. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

Application Fee:

• General/Unreserved: ₹1150/-
• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹600/-
• SC/ST/PwD: ₹325/-
• Third Gender: As per applicable norms.

1. Submit only one application. Multiple forms will be rejected.
