Salary and Benefits:

• Pay Level: Pay Level 10 as per the 7th CPC (AGP 6000).
• Allowances: DA, TA, LTC, and Children Education Allowance as per Central Government rules.
• Professional Development Allowance: ₹3,00,000 for every 3 years (₹1,00,000 annually) for participation in national/international conferences, memberships, etc.
• Retirement Benefits: Covered under the New Pension Scheme (NPS-2004)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications

• Essential Qualification:
  • A Ph.D. in the relevant field with consistently good academic records.
  • All degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D.) must be from recognized universities/institutions.
  • At least one of the qualifying degrees (UG/PG/Ph.D.) must be obtained from a centrally funded institution in India.

  Electrical Engineering	Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Specialization in Power Systems, High Voltage, etc.
  Electronics & Communication Engineering	Bachelor’s in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Applied Electronics. Specialization in Signal Processing, etc.
  Mechanical Engineering	Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production Engineering. Specialization in Robotics, Manufacturing, Machine Design, etc.
  Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences	Master’s in Economics with a relevant specialization.
  Education	Master’s in Education with a Ph.D. in Education.

2. Academic Excellence

• A consistently good academic record with a First Class or equivalent grade in all degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D.).

3. Experience

• Grade II (Pay Level 10):
  • No prior teaching or research experience is required for this entry-level position.

4. Age Limit

• Preferable upper age limit: 35 years as of the application closing date (February 10, 2025).
• Age relaxations as per Government of India norms:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: Additional 10 years

5. Reservation Policy

• Reserved positions for SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories as per Government of India norms.
• PwBD candidates are eligible for reservation if the disability percentage meets or exceeds the specified threshold.

6. Other Key Requirements

• Candidates who earned their Ph.D. from NIT Calicut must have a minimum of 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience outside NIT Calicut.

7. Disqualifications

• Candidates who have previously applied under NITC Advertisement No.: P1/456/FR/2023 (dated 15/11/2023) and were not selected are not eligible to apply.
