The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, invites applications for Research Associate-I (RA-I) positions across multiple domains. These are short-term contractual positions offering opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge research in solar energy technologies.

Overview:

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 10 vacant posts under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Essential Qualifications:
   • Research Associate-I (All Specializations):
     • Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Electrical Engineering,Material science, or allied disciplines.
     • OR 3 years of post-M.Tech/ME experience in the relevant field.
     • At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
2. Desirable Skills:
   • Expertise in domain-specific tools and methodologies (e.g., GIS, machine learning, PV simulation software, battery modeling).
   • Hands-on experience in laboratory research, simulation, and statistical analysis.
3. Age Relaxation:
   • SC/ST: 5 years
   • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
   • Physically Handicapped and Women Applicants: 5 years
   • Additional relaxation for outstanding/relevant experience as per NISE norms.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and research experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview (online or offline).
3. Document Verification: Candidates must provide original documents during the interview.
