The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, invites applications for 04 Project Managers and 08 Junior Project Engineers on a short-term contract basis. These roles are crucial for advancing solar energy technologies and related R&D initiatives.

1. Project Manager

• Specializations:
  • Green Hydrogen: 1
  • ALMM & PLI: 1
  • Industrial Research and Technical Consultancy: 1
  • Skill Development/Capacity Building: 1
• Salary:
  • ₹1,20,000 (1st year)
  • ₹1,25,000 (2nd year)
  • ₹1,30,000 (3rd year)

2. Junior Project Engineer

• Positions Available: 8
• Specializations:
  • Testing and Calibration: 5
  • Thermal Energy Storage and Product Development: 3
• Salary:
  • ₹35,000 (1st year)
  • ₹37,000 (2nd year)
  • ₹39,000 (3rd year)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Project Manager

• Essential Qualifications:
  • • Educational Qualification:
      • BE/B.Tech in relevant fields such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or allied disciplines.
      • ME/M.Tech candidates require only 4 years of post-qualification experience.
      • PhD in a relevant field is desirable and preferred.
    • Experience:
      • BE/B.Tech holders: Minimum 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
      • ME/M.Tech holders: Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
    • Age Limit: Maximum age: 45 years (as of the application closing date).

2. Junior Project Engineer

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or allied disciplines) OR ITI in relevant trades.
  • Experience:
    • Diploma holders: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
    • ITI holders: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Age Limit:
  • Maximum age: 30 years (as of the application closing date).

Age relaxation applies as per Government of India rules:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable norms.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting of Applications: Based on qualifications and experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will receive interview details via email.
