The National Insurance Company Ltd. (NICL) has announced 266 vacancies for the Administrative Officer (AO) – Scale I post under the NICL Recruitment 2025 notification. The NICL AO Notification 2025 is released on June 11, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the NICL Administrative Officer vacancy from June 12, 2025, to July 03, 2025.

NICL AO Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 266 vacant posts under the NICL AO Notification 2025 for the following categories:

NICL AO 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the NICL Administrative Officer Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Generalist AO: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)

• Specialist AO:

  • Doctors (MBBS): MBBS/MD/MS with valid medical registration

  • Legal: LLB/LLM with 60% (55% for SC/ST)

  • Finance: CA/ICWA or B.Com/M.Com with 60% (55% for SC/ST)

  • IT: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA in CS/IT

  • Auto Engineers: B.Tech/BE in Automobile/Mech + Diploma (if applicable)

Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025):

• Minimum: 21 years

• Maximum: 30 years

NICL AO Selection Process:

The selection process for an administrative officer comprises the following stages:

1. Preliminary Exam (100 Marks – 60 min)

2. Main Exam (250 Marks + 30 Marks Descriptive – 3 hrs 30 min)

3. Interview

4. Final Merit List

NICL AO Exam Pattern 2025:

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

• Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

NICL AO Application Form 2025 Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹1000/-

• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹250/-
