Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 100 vacant posts.

• Reservation:
  • Vertical:
    • SC: 7%
    • ST (Plain): 10%
    • ST (Hills): 5%
    • OBC/MOBC: 30% (including 3% for Tea Tribes and Adivasi Communities)
  • Horizontal:
    • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 4%
    • Women: 30%
    • Ex-Servicemen: 2%

Salary and Benefits:

• Monthly Remuneration: ₹27,500
• Contractual Position: Engagement is on a contractual basis, with possible renewal based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:
   • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing with a 6-month Certificate Course in Community Health (from IGNOU or a recognized institution).
2. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
   • General: 18–40 years
   • OBC/MOBC: 18–43 years
   • SC/ST: 18–45 years
   • PwD: 18–50 years
3. Other Requirements:
   • Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
   • Proficiency in Assamese or other local languages/dialects is mandatory.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting:
   • Based on eligibility and merit.
2. Interview/Selection Test:
   • Schedule and shortlisted candidates list will be published on the NHM Assam website.
   • No individual call letters will be issued.
