NHIT Various Managerial and Technical Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age Limit

Deputy General Manager/General Manager – Maintenance

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering (minimum 20 years experience) OR Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum 25 years experience).
  • Experience: Managing highway project sites, maintenance planning, conducting pre- and post-monsoon checks, and routine maintenance control.

Insurance Manager

  • Qualification: Graduate in any stream.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in handling insurance for organizational assets, knowledge of IRDAI regulations, risk assessment, and policy structuring.

Manager/Senior Manager – Traffic

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. or Master’s in Transportation Engineering/Planning.
  • Experience: 10-15 years in highway sector, toll traffic, revenue monitoring, traffic analysis, and forecasting.

General Manager – Contracts & Projects Monitoring

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 20-25 years in highway construction/O&M, contract management, monitoring multiple projects, and handling agreements.

Maintenance Manager

  • Qualification: B.E. in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 10-12 years in construction, operation, and maintenance of highways, preferably National Highways.

Project Manager (Project Head)

  • Qualification: Graduate degree.
  • Experience: 15 years in toll management, road project operations, and handling concession agreements.

Toll Manager (Plaza Manager)

  • Qualification: Graduate degree.
  • Experience: 10 years in toll operations. Preference for candidates with experience in Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems.

Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager – Electrical

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical & Instrumentation.
  • Experience: 15 years in street light, high mast, transformer installation on NHAI projects, electrical compliance.

Manager – ITS (On Fixed Term)

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in IT, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • Experience: 10 years in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Electronic Toll Collection (FASTag), and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS).

Deputy General Manager/General Manager – Secretarial & Compliance (Company Secretary)

  • Qualification: Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI Member).
  • Experience: 15+ years in corporate governance, SEBI compliance, and board/shareholder meetings. A law degree is an added advantage.

Manager – IT

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
  • Experience: 10 years in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud storage, and networks. Certifications in CCNA, CISSP, AWS/Azure, ITIL, or PMP are an advantage.

Manager – Legal

  • Qualification: LLB degree.
  • Experience: 10 years (including at least 2 years in the road sector), expertise in contract law, arbitration, PPP road projects, and NHAI guidelines.

Selection Process:

  1. Shortlisting – Based on experience and qualifications.
  2. Interview – Candidates shortlisted will be invited for an interview.
  3. Final Selection – Based on performance in the interview.
