Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
- Age Limit:
- The maximum age for applicants is 30 years as of the closing date of the application.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates)
- Recruitment Basis:
- The selection will be based on the final merit of candidates who appeared for the Engineering Services (E.S) Examination (Civil), 2023, conducted by UPSC, including the written test and personality test.
- Eligibility for Reservation:
- Candidates seeking reservation must provide valid certificates in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority.
- OBC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued during 2023-2024.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must provide an Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2022-2023 issued after 01.04.2023.
- Eligibility for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD):
- Candidates with the following disabilities are eligible:
- Deaf (D)/Hard of Hearing (HH)
- One Arm (OA), One Leg (OL), Leprosy Cured (LC), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV)
- Special Learning Disability (SLD)/Mental Illness (MI)
- Multiple Disabilities involving the above categories
- Applicants must possess a valid disability certificate certifying at least 40% disability, issued by a competent authority.
- Service Bond:
- Selected candidates must sign a service bond of ₹5 lakhs, committing to serve NHAI for a minimum of 3 years.
- Resignation or termination within this period requires repayment of the bond amount.
Selection Process:
- Basis of Selection:
- The selection will be conducted on the final merit of candidates who appeared for the Engineering Services (E.S) Examination (Civil), 2023, conducted by UPSC.
- The merit list will consider the marks obtained in both:
- The Written Test
- The Personality Test (Interview)
- Eligibility Verification:
- Only candidates meeting all the eligibility criteria (age, education, and reservation requirements) will be considered for the merit-based selection process.
- Reservation Policy:
- Selection will follow the Government of India reservation policies, ensuring positions are allocated fairly to categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD.
