Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Basic Qualification:
- MBBS Degree from a recognized university listed in the First or Second Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in a clinical subject from a recognized university or equivalent qualification specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Specializations Include:
- Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Respiratory Medicine, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hospital experience, including at least 3 years in a 30-bed hospital post-MBBS and postgraduate qualification.
Additional Requirements:
- Registration under the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965, or inclusion in the Indian Medical Register.
Age Limit:
- As per state government norms, with applicable age relaxations for reserved categories.
Physical Standards (for candidates with disabilities):
- Specific guidelines for candidates with hearing impairments, one-leg disabilities, spinal deformities, or leprosy-cured status, as defined in the official notification.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting:
- Based on educational qualifications, experience, and specialization.
- Interview:
- Candidates will undergo a personal interview to assess their clinical expertise and managerial capabilities.
- Medical Examination:
- Selected candidates must clear a medical fitness test as per government regulations.
Contract Terms:
- Bond:
- Selected candidates must agree to serve the Maharashtra State Health Services for a minimum of 5 years or pay a penalty of ₹500 or as determined by the government.
- Defense Service Obligation:
- Candidates may be required to serve in defense-related medical posts for a minimum of 4 years within the first 10 years of their appointment or before attaining the age of 45, whichever is earlier.
