Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 36 vacant posts.

• Consultant Grade II: 18 Positions
  • Monthly Remuneration: ₹50,000
• Consultant Grade III: 18 Positions
  • Monthly Remuneration: ₹40,000

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Grade II:
  • Retired officers with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a DGM or higher position.
  • Minimum 30 years of experience in the power sector, preferably in distribution.
• Grade III:
  • Retired officers with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Manager or higher position.
  • Minimum 30 years of experience in the power sector, preferably in distribution.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 67 years (at the time of appointment).

Other Requirements:

• Free from vigilance or disciplinary cases at the time of retirement.
• Must have a “Very Good” performance grading in the last three years of service.

Contract Duration:

• Initial term: 3 years or until the consultant reaches the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process:

• Preliminary scrutiny of applications based on qualifications and experience.
• Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
• Final selection based on qualification, experience, and interview performance.

Additional Information:

• Selected consultants will be entitled to 13 casual leave days per year (pro-rata).
• Travel expenses outside the assigned headquarters will be reimbursed as per entitlement prior to retirement.
