Remuneration:
- Secondary Teachers: Starting at ₹32,800 per month + DA.
- Primary Teachers: Starting at ₹25,300 per month + DA.
Eligibility Criteria:
General Requirements:
- Candidates must have passed the relevant Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted in 2018 or 2023.
- Candidates must fulfill educational qualifications as specified below:
Educational Qualifications:
- Secondary Teachers (Subject Teachers):
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks and a B.Ed. degree as per NCTE regulations.
- OR Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.El.Ed. degree.
- Sports Teachers:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) with at least 50% marks.
- Music Teachers (Singing & Instrumental):
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a diploma in music (Singing/Instrumental).
- Dance Teachers:
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a diploma or degree in dance from a recognized institution.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2024):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age:
- General Candidates: 40 years
- Female Candidates (General): 45 years
- Reserved Categories: 45 years
- Guest Teachers with 3 academic sessions and 200 teaching days: Maximum of 49 years
Selection Process:
- Written Examination:
- Conducted online for 2 hours per session.
- Multiple-choice questions covering subject knowledge and teaching methodology.
- Merit List:
- Based on performance in the written exam and document verification.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates must present original documents, including academic certificates, experience, and category proofs.
