MP High Court Various Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel

✅ Experience: Minimum 10 years in criminal law.
✅ Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of criminal law and ethical duties of a defense lawyer.
• Ability to handle at least 30 criminal cases in the Sessions Court (relaxation in exceptional cases).
• Leadership skills and office management ability.
• Preferred: Knowledge of computer systems.

2. Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel

✅ Experience: Minimum 7 years in criminal law.
✅ Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent understanding of criminal law.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research.
• Must have handled at least 20 criminal cases in the Sessions Court (relaxation in exceptional cases).
• Preferred: Knowledge of IT and digital work.

3. Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel

✅ Experience: 0 to 3 years in criminal law.
✅ Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• High proficiency in IT and digital work.
• Thorough understanding of the ethical duties of a defense attorney.

MP High Court Various Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

1. Application Shortlisting

• All applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria, experience, and qualifications.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage.

2. Interview / Personal Interaction

• Candidates who pass the shortlisting stage will be interviewed by a selection committee.
• The interview will assess:
  • Legal knowledge and expertise in criminal law.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the ethical duties of a defense lawyer.
  • Leadership skills (for senior roles).
