The MoEFCC The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change invites applications for the recruitment of 22 Associates (Legal) on a contractual basis to support legal matters within its Policy and Law Division. Note:
- Total Vacancies: 22 (with provisions for adjustment based on merit and reserve/waitlist candidates).

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential:
- LL.B. (Bachelor of Law): Degree from a recognized university/institute in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Bar Enrollment: Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Desirable:
- Experience in handling cases related to environment, forests, biodiversity, wildlife, and pollution in Government or State Departments/Boards.
- Diploma/Certificate specialization in related fields from a recognized university/institution.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 50 years as of the last date of application.
Selection Process:

- Screening & Shortlisting: By the Policy & Law Division based on eligibility and experience.
- Evaluation: Recommendations by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee (CEC).
- Final Approval: By the Secretary, MoEFCC.
