The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced 13 vacancies for the Stenographer post under the Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2025 notification. The Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Notification 2025 was released on May 12, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Meghalaya PSC Stenographer vacancy from May 12, 2025, to June 13, 2025.

Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 13 vacant posts under the Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Notification 2025 for the following categories:

• Stenographer Grade-I: 11
• Stenographer Grade-III: 2

Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
• For Stenographer Grade I, a minimum of 5 years of experience as Grade II & III is required.

Typing Requirement:

• Stenographer Grade-I: 150 w.p.m.
• Stenographer Grade-III: 80 w.p.m.

Age Limit (Stenographer Grade-III only):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years

Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Selection Process:

The selection procedure for Stenographer Grade I & III posts consists of the following stages:

• Written Examination

• Stenography Test

• Personal Interview

Meghalaya PSC Stenographer Application Form 2025 Fee:

• For Stenographer I: Rs. 460/-
• For Stenographer III: Rs. 350/-

SC/ST candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya are eligible for a 50% fee concession.
