The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced 10 vacancies for the posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector, Senior Scientific Assistant, Librarian, and others under the Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2025 notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Meghalaya PSC Inspector & Other vacancy from April 17, 2025, to May 18, 2025.

Applications are invited for a total of 10 vacant posts under the Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

• Motor Vehicle Inspector: 03
• Senior Scientific Assistant: 01
• Soil & Water Conservation Ranger: 04
• Environmental Planning and Protection Assistant: 01
• Librarian: 01

Meghalaya PSC Inspector & Other Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the MPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector, Senior Scientific Assistant & Other Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Motor Vehicle Inspector:

• Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution + Driving License + 3 years of experience

Senior Scientific Assistant:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics or Forensic Science from a recognized university.

Soil & Water Conservation Ranger:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Environmental Planning Assistant:

• Graduate in Science with Chemistry/Zoology/Biology/Environmental Science.

Librarian:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field + Diploma in Library Science.

Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years

Meghalaya PSC Inspector & Other Selection Process:

• Written Examination: MCQ-based, 350 marks & 300 marks

• Personal Interview

• Document Verification

Meghalaya PSC Inspector & Other Exam Pattern 2025:

Below is the detailed exam pattern for Meghalaya PSC Various Posts:

Motor Vehicle Inspector:

• General English: 50 marks
• General Knowledge & Aptitude: 100 marks
• General Awareness on Motor Vehicles: 100 marks
• Motor Vehicle Act (1988): 100 marks

Senior Scientific Assistant:

• General English: 100 marks
• Chemistry/Physics or Forensic Science: 200 marks

Soil & Water Conservation Ranger:

• General English: 50 marks
• General Knowledge: 50 marks
• Civil Engineering: 200 marks

Librarian:

• General English: 50 marks
• General Knowledge: 50 marks
• Library Science/Management: 200 marks

Environmental Planning Assistant:

• General English: 50 marks
• General Knowledge: 50 marks
• Mathematics: 100 marks
• Science: 100 marks

MPSC Recruitment 2025 Application Fee:

• For Librarian post: ₹320
• For other posts: ₹350

SC/ST candidates who are permanent residents of Meghalaya are eligible for a 50% fee concession.
