The Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank is recruiting for 45 positions, including Bank Assistant-cum-Cashier and Accountant-cum-Head Cashier, with salaries up to ₹45,114/month. Eligible candidates can apply online by January 15, 2025.

Overview:

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 45 vacant posts under the following categories:

1. Bank Assistant-cum-Cashier-II (Grade 3B)
   • Number of Vacancies: 25
   • Initial Basic Pay: ₹31,098/- per month during probation
2. Accountant-cum-Head Cashier (Grade 3A-I)
   • Number of Vacancies: 20
   • Initial Basic Pay: ₹45,114/- per month during probation

Eligibility Criteria:

For All Posts:

1. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
   • Minimum: 21 years
   • Maximum: 30 years
   • Relaxation:
     • SC/ST: 5 years
2. Educational Qualification:
   • Graduate in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates).
   • Working knowledge of computers (spreadsheets, word processing, emails, etc.), preferably with a certificate or diploma in computing.
3. Language Proficiency:
   • Pass marks in Khasi or Garo in SSLC or higher examinations. Alternatively, candidates must pass a proficiency exam in Khasi or Garo.
4. Additional Requirement:
   • Candidates awaiting results or who have not passed the required qualification by January 1, 2025, are ineligible.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test:
   • Objective questions on:
     • General Knowledge
     • Computer Aptitude
     • Reasoning Ability
     • Quantitative Aptitude
     • English Language
2. Personal Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an interview.
3. Final Selection:
   • Based on aggregate performance in the Written Test and Personal Interview.

• Bank Assistant-cum-Cashier: ₹350 (₹250 for SC/ST/OBC/PH)
• Accountant-cum-Head Cashier: ₹400 (₹300 for SC/ST/OBC/PH)
