Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit (as of November 22, 2024):
- Maximum Age: 35 years (born on or after November 22, 1989).
- Relaxation:
- In-service candidates (AMC/temporary staff) in the Madras High Court and District Judiciary are eligible for a 5-year relaxation.
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess one of the following degrees:
- B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)
- BCA
- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or IT)
- MCA
- M.Sc. (Computer Science)
- M.E./M.Tech (Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or IT)
- M.S. (IT)
Note: Candidates awaiting results or certificates on the notification date are ineligible.
Examination Fee:
₹600 (non-refundable).
Selection Process:
- Written Examination (120 marks):
- Objective type questions.
- Duration: 90 minutes.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Subjects:
- Computer Knowledge (50 questions).
- General Knowledge (10 questions).
- Certificate Verification & Final Interview (30 marks):
- Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio) will proceed to the interview stage.
- Final selection is based on combined marks from the written test and interview.
Examination Centers:
- Will be announced later on the official Madras High Court website.
Terms & Conditions:
- This is a purely contractual position without claims for permanency.
- Selected candidates may be posted at either the Principal Seat (Madras) or the Madurai Bench.
- High Court reserves the right to transfer employees as needed.
- Work hours may extend beyond standard hours, including weekends and court holidays.
