Madras High Court Various Posts Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for Various Group C & D positions, candidates should possess the following:
1. Group C Posts
Personal Assistant to Hon’ble Judges & Private Secretary to Registrar General
- Education: Any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: 18–37 years (relaxation as per norms)
- Typing/Shorthand: English Shorthand & Typewriting (Senior Grade), Tamil Typewriting (Senior Grade)
Personal Assistant (Registrars) / Personal Clerk (Deputy Registrars)
- Education: Any Bachelor’s degree
- Typing/Shorthand: English & Tamil Shorthand and Typewriting (Senior Grade)
2. Group D Posts
Office Assistant/Chobdar/Room Boy/Residential Assistant
- Education: Minimum 8th Pass, maximum 12th pass
Madras High Court Various Posts Selection Process:
For Group C (PA/Clerks/Secretary):
- Written Exam (150 Objective + Descriptive)
- Skill Test—English/Tamil Shorthand & Typewriting
- Viva-voce
For Group D (Office Assistant & Others):
- Common Written Test—Part A (Tamil) & Part B (GK, Housekeeping)
- Skill Test—Cooking, Cleaning, Driving (as applicable)
- Certificate Verification
