Location: University of Kalyani, with extensive fieldwork in Sundarbans region

Job Description:

Field Investigators will play a crucial role in gathering essential data for this socio-economic research project, specifically focusing on community health and perceptions in the Sundarbans. Primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting extensive field studies within Sundarbans.
• Collecting, organizing, and scrutinizing field data.
• Assisting in other tasks relevant to the project.

Qualifications Required:

Essential:

• Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Economics, Education, or Rural Development Studies with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Language Proficiency: Strong communication skills in Bengali.

Desirable:

• Prior experience in developing research tools and conducting field surveys.

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly Remuneration: ₹20,000 (consolidated).
