Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 23 vacant posts.

• Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2, as per Pay Matrix)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
• Driving License: Candidates must possess a valid Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle (HMV/LMV) Driving License.

Age Limit:

• General: 40 years
• SC/ST/OBC: 43 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
• Physically Challenged: 42 years

Selection Process:

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test (Objective Type–100 Marks)
   • General Awareness & Reasoning
   • Traffic Rules & Road Safety
   • Basic Vehicle Maintenance
   • JK-Specific Current Affairs
2. Driving Test (Practical Evaluation)
   • Vehicle handling skills
   • Knowledge of road signs and signals
   • Parking and reversing test
   • Emergency situation handling
3. Document Verification
   • Educational Certificates
   • Valid Driving License
   • Experience Certificate
   • Domicile Certificate
4. Final Merit List
   • Based on Written Exam & Driving Test Scores
