IIT Kanpur has released the JEE Advanced 2025 notification for admission into the undergraduate programs (B.Tech, B.S., and dual degree) offered by the IITs. Eligible candidates can apply online from April 23, 2025, to May 02, 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 will be held on 18 May 2025.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Must have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2024 or 2025.

JEE Main 2025 Qualification:

• Must be among the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2025.
• Maximum of two attempts in consecutive years.

Age Limit:

• Born on or after October 1, 2000. (Relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates)

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Papers: Two compulsory papers—Paper 1 & Paper 2

• Duration: 3 hours each

• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

• Total no. of questions: 54 (18 questions in each subject)

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Date:

The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will take place on May 18, 2025, with two shifts scheduled. Students must complete both papers, which will be conducted in a computer-based format. JEE Advanced 2025 shifts details are below:

• Paper 1: 09:00–12:00 IST

• Paper 2: 14:30–17:30 IST
