Indian Ports Association (IPA) invites applications for Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical) positions across various Major Ports in India. These roles are at the executive level, offering a dynamic career in port operations and management.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

1. Educational Qualification:
   • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum 2 years of executive experience in Mechanical Engineering in an industrial, commercial, or government undertaking.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 30 years (as of January 31, 2025).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PwBD candidates).
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must meet physical and medical fitness standards for the position.

Selection Process:

1. Online Examination:
   • Objective Test:
     • Duration: 120 minutes
     • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
     • Qualifying Marks:
       • General: 40%
       • OBC: 35%
       • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

2. Interview:
   • Candidates shortlisted from the online examination will be called for an interview.
3. Document Verification:
   • Shortlisted candidates must present original documents for verification.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Pay Scale: ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 (IDA pattern).
• Additional benefits:
  • DA, HRA (or subsidized accommodation), Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Medical Benefits, and National Pension Scheme.
