IOCL (Eastern Region) Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 382 vacant posts under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Technician Apprentice:
   • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Electronics, etc.) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
2. Graduate Apprentice:
   • Bachelor’s Degree (BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
3. Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Mechanic, etc.):
   • ITI in relevant trades with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
4. Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Freshers):
   • Class 12th pass (but below graduate level).
5. Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):
   • Class 12th pass with Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator (training duration less than 1 year).

Age Limit (as of 31/01/2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years
  • SC/ST: Relaxation up to 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation up to 3 years.
  • PwBD: Relaxation up to 10 years.

Selection Process:

1. Merit-Based Shortlisting:
   • Based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Document Verification:
   • Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification at the respective IOCL offices.
3. Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test:
   • Candidates must meet IOCL’s pre-engagement medical standards.

1. Registration:
   • Technician & Graduate Apprentice: Register on NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in).
   • Trade Apprentice: Register on NAPS Portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
2. Apply Online:
   • Visit IOCL’s official website (https://www.iocl.com/apprenticeships).
   • Submit the required details via Microsoft Form (https://forms.office.com/r/vmdXMdzXzF) after registering on NATS/NAPS Portal.
3. Important Documents to Upload:
   • 10th Standard Certificate and Marksheet (for proof of date of birth).
   • Diploma/Degree/ITI certificates and mark sheets.
   • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
   • Disability Certificate (if applicable).
   • Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Bank Passbook (for Aadhaar-linked account).
   • Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
