Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification (For below vacancies)
1. Executive Branch (GS)/Hydro Cadre|Pilot|Naval Air Operations Officer|Air Traffic Controller|Logistics
- Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech/MBA/B.Sc/B.Com/MCA/M.Sc (IT) with a minimum of 60% marks.
2. Education Branch Education Officer:
- Candidates must have an M.Sc (Maths/Physics/Chemistry) / BE/B.Tech (Mech/Electrical/ECE) / M.Tech (Thermal, VLSI, Power System) with minimum 60% marks.
3. Technical BranchEngineering (GS)|Electrical (GS)|Naval Constructor:
- Candidates must have BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, Production, Metallurgy, Industrial,Electrical, Electronics, Power, Instrumentation etc. with a minimum of 60% marks.
Additional Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Marks Requirement:
- Candidates must have at least 60% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree.
- For the Education Branch, candidates must also have 60% marks in Class X & XII, including 60% in English in either Class X or XII.
Special Consideration for NCC Candidates:
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders get 5% relaxation in cutoff marks for shortlisting.
Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:
The selection process consists of four stages:1. Shortlisting (Based on Marks)
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their normalized marks obtained in their qualifying degree.
- BE/B.Tech Candidates: Marks up to 5th semester will be considered.
- Post-Graduate Candidates: Marks from all semesters will be considered.
2. SSB Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will receive SSB call letters via email/SMS.
- The SSB interview includes Psychological Tests, Group Discussion, and a Personal Interview.
3. Medical Examination
- Candidates who clear the SSB interview undergo a medical examination.
4. Merit List & Final Selection
- The final merit list is prepared based on SSB scores and medical fitness.
