Indian Bank Kolkata Authorized Doctor Recruitment 2025
Indian Bank FGMO Kolkata invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for empanelment as an Authorized Doctor on a contract basis. The selected candidate will provide healthcare services to the bank’s staff and their families, assist in medical certificate reviews, and participate in health-related activities organized by the bank.

Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification:
- MBBS degree from a recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine.
- Registration with the Medical Council of India is mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience as a Medical Practitioner or in a hospital setting.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be capable of performing duties similar to a General Medical Practitioner, irrespective of any postgraduate or additional qualifications.
- The selected candidate must provide medical and technical advice regarding medical certificates submitted by bank employees.
- Must agree to provide emergency services, including availability during evenings, nights, weekends, and Bank Board/Management Committee meetings if required.
Other Conditions:
- Should maintain valid registration(s) with the Medical Council of India throughout the contract period.
- Willingness to attend medical camps and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives conducted by the bank.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of Applications:
- Applications will be reviewed to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria (education, experience, etc.).
- The bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates for the interview.
- Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by the selection committee.
- The interview will assess the candidate’s suitability for the role based on their qualifications, experience, and understanding of the role’s requirements.
- Final Selection:
- Candidates selected in the interview will be offered the position subject to:
- Medical fitness as determined by the bank.
- Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Contract (Annexure-I).
- Agreement to the Code of Conduct (Annexure-II).
- The selected candidate will sign a contract with the bank before engagement.
