Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit | – Born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive). – Upper age limit as on the date of enrolment: 21 years. |

Educational Qualification (Science Subjects) | – Passed 10+2/Intermediate or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English, scoring 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. – Passed 3-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant fields (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. – Passed 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Mathematics) with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. |
Physical Standards | Height: – Minimum 152 cm for males and females. – Exceptions: 147 cm for North-East and Uttarakhand hill region candidates, 150 cm for Lakshadweep candidates.Weight: Proportional to height and age. – Chest (Males): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion. – Chest (Females): Minimum 5 cm expansion. |
Vision | – Correctable to 6/6 each eye. – Refractive errors: Hypermetropia up to +2.0D, Myopia up to -1D (including astigmatism ±0.50D). |
Hearing | – Normal hearing; able to hear a forced whisper at 6 meters. |

Domicile | – Candidates must provide a valid domicile certificate (Permanent or COAFP certificates). |

Selection Process:
1. Phase-I: Online Test
- Admit Card: Candidates receive the admit card via email 48-72 hours before the test. A color printout of the admit card is mandatory.
- Test Pattern:
- For Science Subjects:
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
- For Non-Science Subjects:
- Duration: 45 minutes.
- Subjects: English (10+2 CBSE syllabus) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- For Science and Non-Science Subjects:
- Duration: 85 minutes.
- Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, English, and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- For Science Subjects:
- Marking Scheme:
- +1 mark for each correct answer.
- -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- No marks for unattempted questions.
2. Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks from Phase-I.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT-I):
- 1.6 km run:
- Male: Within 7 minutes.
- Female: Within 8 minutes.
- 1.6 km run:
- PFT-II: Conducted after 10 minutes of rest.
- For Males:
- 10 push-ups (1 minute).
- 10 sit-ups (1 minute).
- 20 squats (1 minute).
- For Females:
- 10 sit-ups (1 minute).
- 15 squats (1 minute).
- For Males:
- Important Note: Sports shoes and track pants are required.
3. Adaptability Tests
- Adaptability Test-I:
- Objective-type written test to assess the candidate’s suitability for deployment in varied geographic and operational conditions.
- Adaptability Test-II:
- Evaluates the ability to adjust to the military lifestyle and environment.
4. Phase-III: Medical Examination
- Conducted as per Indian Air Force medical standards. Key evaluations include:
- Blood Haemogram, Urine Analysis.
- Biochemistry (Blood Sugar, Serum Cholesterol, etc.).
- Radiograph Chest (PA View).
- Ultrasonography of lower abdomen (for females).
- ECG (R).
- Candidates declared unfit may appeal to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within 3 days by depositing ₹40.
5. Final Selection
- Provisional Select List (PSL):
- State-wise merit list based on Phase-I and II results, medical fitness, and vacancy availability.
- Displayed on 14 November 2025.
- Valid for 6 months.
- Enrolment List:
- Final list of selected candidates published on 01 December 2025.
- E-call letters sent to enrolled candidates’ registered email IDs.
