About CQST:

The Centre for Quantum Science and Technologies (CQST), is a newly established academic center at IIT Mandi, with a vision to bring advancement in the field of quantum technologies and educate future generations of quantum scientists and engineers. Currently, the center is focused on building a reliable and scalable optical vortex-based quantum-computing platform, capable of solving specific problems. We aim to explore how multiple quantum phenomena can work together to instantly deliver deeper insights into any unknown data. To achieve these goals, we are establishing a national laboratory with state-of-the-art facilities to test all hallmarks of optical quantum computing.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A Ph.D. degree in the relevant fields.
• The potential to develop a recognized research group aligned with CQST’s goals.
• Teaching experience and interest aligned with the CQST’s mission.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary research, especially in the context of socially relevant technologies for the Himalayan region.
