The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is recruiting for 08 Posts of temporary contractual under the Clinical Studies Trial Unit (CSTU) in New Delhi. These posts are part of the INTENT programme, which aims to strengthen clinical research and trials in India. The posts include Project Research Scientist-II, Consultant Data Monitor, Consultant Data Manager and Consultant Trial Manager, whose qualifications range from Masters to PhD and experience in relevant fields.

Vacancy & Salary Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 8 vacant posts under the following categories:

• Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical):
  • Emoluments: ₹67,000 + 30% HRA = ₹87,100 per month
  • Age Limit: Up to 40 years
• Consultant (Non-Medical) – Data Monitor:
  • Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,80,000 per month
  • For retired government servants, remuneration will be fixed according to Ministry of Finance guidelines
  • Age Limit: 40 to 65 years
• Consultant (Non-Medical) – Data Manager:
  • Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,80,000 per month
  • For retired government servants, remuneration will be fixed as per Ministry of Finance norms
  • Age Limit: 40 to 65 years
• Consultant (Non-Medical) – Trial Managers:
  • Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,80,000 per month
  • For retired government servants, remuneration will be fixed in accordance with Ministry of Finance rules
  • Age Limit: 40 to 65 years

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical):

• Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree with 3 years’ experience or Ph.D.
• Desirable Experience: A post-graduate degree in pharmacology, clinical research, microbiology, or public health. Experience in clinical research and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) is a plus.
• Emoluments: ₹67,000 + 30% HRA = ₹87,100 per month
• Age Limit: 40 years or younger

2. Consultant (Non-Medical) Data Monitor:

• Qualifications: M.Sc/B.Tech/BE/MCA/MPH/B.Pharm/BAMS/MD in AYUSH or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in clinical research.
• Desirable Experience: A Ph.D. in population sciences or biostatistics.
• Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month
• Age Limit: 40-65 years

3. Consultant (Non-Medical) Data Manager:

• Qualifications: M.Sc/B.Tech/BE/MCA/MPH/B.Pharm/BAMS/MD in AYUSH or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in data management.
• Desirable Experience: Knowledge of database programming, experience with Oracle and MySQL.
• Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month
• Age Limit: 40-65 years

4. Consultant (Non-Medical) Trial Managers:

• Qualifications: M.Sc/B.Tech/BE/MCA/MPH/B.Pharm/BAMS/MD in AYUSH or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience.
• Desirable Experience: A Ph.D. in pharmacology, clinical research, or public health.
• Emoluments: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month
• Age Limit: 40-65 years

Selection Process:

The selection process for ICMR Recruitment 2025 will involve selection of candidates on the basis of their qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test and personal interview. The final selection will depend on their performance at this stage.
