The National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) in Ahmedabad, under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is recruiting for 27 vacancies, including Assistant, Technician, and Lab Attendant positions. Positions Available:

Total: 27

1. Assistant
   • Total Vacancies: 2 (UR)
   • Pay Scale: Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
     • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.).
   • Age Limit: 30 years
2. Technician-I
   • Total Vacancies: 19 (UR-7, EWS-3, OBC-5, SC-2, ST-2)
   • Pay Scale: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • 12th or intermediate pass in Science with 55% marks.
     • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Computer/Chemical Technology/Industrial Safety.
   • Age Limit: 28 years
3. Laboratory Attendant-I
   • Total Vacancies: 6 (UR-2, EWS-2, ST-2)
   • Pay Scale: Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • 10th Pass with 50% marks.
     • One year of experience in a government-recognized laboratory/ITI certification.
   • Age Limit: 25 years

Selection Procedure:

• Written Test: Objective MCQs of 100 marks.
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Qualifying Marks:
    • UR/EWS/OBC: 50%
    • SC/ST/PwD: 40%
• Skill Test (for Assistants): Top candidates from the written test will be shortlisted for a skill test.
