The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has announced 630 vacancies for the Navik (General Duty & Domestic Branch) and Yantrik (Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics) posts for the 01/2026 batch through the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT). The ICG Navik & Yantrik 01 & 02/2026 Notification 2025 is released on June 11, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik vacancy from June 11, 2025, to June 25, 2025.

Applications are invited for a total of 630 vacant posts under the Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Notification 2025 for the following categories:

CGEPT 01/2026 Batch:

CGEPT 02/2026 Batch:

Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Eligibility 2025 Criteria:

To be eligible for the Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Navik (GD): 12th pass with Maths and Physics from a COBSE-recognized board.

• Navik (DB): 10th pass from COBSE-recognized board.

• Yantrik: 10th pass + Diploma (2–4 years) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecom from an AICTE-approved institution.

Age Limit (as on 01 Aug 2025):

• General: 18 to 22 years

• DOB Range:

  • Navik GD for 01/26 & 02/26 batch: Born between 01 Aug 2004 – 01 Aug 2008

  • Yantrik for 01/26 batch: Born between 01 Mar 2004 – 01 Mar 2008

  • Navik DB for 02/26 batch: Born between 01 Aug 2004 – 01 Aug 2008

ICG Navik & Yantrik Selection Process:

The selection process for Navik & Yantrik comprises the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Exam (CBT):

• Navik (GD): Section I + II (Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK)
• Navik (DB): Section I only
• Yantrik: Section I + Technical Section (III/IV/V depending on trade)

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medicals

• 1.6 km run in 7 min
• 20 squats + 10 push-ups
• Biometric verification & document check

3. Document Verification & Final Medicals at INS Chilka

4. Final Verification

ICG CGEPT 01 & 02/2026 Application Form Fee:

• SC/ST candidates: No Fee
