ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research invites applications from eligible technical personnel for several positions on a permanent inter-institutional transfer basis. These vacancies are intended for candidates currently serving in ICAR institutions or the ICAR system.

Vacant Positions:

1. Technical Assistant (T-3) – Field Farm

• Posts: 4 (2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Location: IISR, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Technical personnel initially recruited as Technical Assistants (T-3) in relevant functional groups within the ICAR system.

2. Technical Assistant (T-3) – Workshop

• Posts: 4 (2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Location: IISR, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Same as above.

3. Technical Assistant (T-3) – Laboratory Technician

• Posts: 4 (2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Location: IISR, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Same as above.

4. Technician (T-1) – Field/Farm

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: IISR, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Technical personnel initially recruited as Technicians (T-1) in relevant functional groups within the ICAR system.

5. Technician (T-1) – Workshop

7. Program Assistant (T-4) – Laboratory Technician

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Technical personnel initially recruited as Programme Assistant (T-4) in Laboratory Technician roles within the ICAR system.

8. Technician (T-1) – Driver

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Technical personnel initially recruited as Technician Driver (T-1) in KVK under the ICAR system.

9. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) – Animal Science

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Technical personnel recruited as Subject Matter Specialists in Animal Science under the ICAR system.

10. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) – Agronomy/Soil Science

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lucknow
• Eligibility: Same as above, but in Agronomy/Soil Science.

11. Program Assistant (T-4) – Laboratory Technician

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lakhimpur Kheri
• Eligibility: Same as above.

12. Program Assistant (T-4) – Computer Operator

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lakhimpur Kheri
• Eligibility: Same as above.

13. Technician (T-1) – Driver

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lakhimpur Kheri
• Eligibility: Same as above.

14. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) – Plant Breeding

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lakhimpur Kheri
• Eligibility: Technical personnel recruited as Subject Matter Specialists in Plant Breeding under the ICAR system.

15. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) – Home Science

• Post: 1 (UR)
• Location: KVK, Lakhimpur Kheri
• Eligibility: Same as above, but in Home Science.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be currently serving as technical personnel in the specified positions within ICAR institutions or the ICAR system.
• For each post, candidates must have been initially recruited in the same functional group as mentioned above.

Application Process:

1. Interested candidates should ensure that their applications are forwarded through the proper channel.
2. The application should include attested copies of APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Report) for the last 5 years and a certificate of vigilance clearance.
3. Applications must reach the office within 30 days of this notice, or within 45 days for candidates from remote areas such as Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, etc.
