Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 6 vacant posts under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Young Professionals

• Essential Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc./B.Com) from a recognized institution.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in conducting field experiments and knowledge of soil and plant nutrient analysis.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, statistical data analysis, interpretation, and report writing.
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years

2. Senior Research Fellows (SRF)

• Essential Qualification (Post-specific):
  • For 1 SRF Post: M.Sc./M.Tech in Chemistry/Agrochemical/Material Science or related fields.
  • For 3 SRF Posts: M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy or Soil Science.
• General Requirements for SRF:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with a 4-5 year Bachelor’s degree OR
  • Master’s degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree with NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in field experiments, soil and plant nutrient analysis, and laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of modifying manure with fertilizers and understanding their impact on the environment.
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Selection Process:

1. Application Screening:
   • Shortlisted candidates based on qualifications will be invited for the interview.
2. Walk-in-Interview:
   • Date: February 5, 2025
   • Time: Reporting at 9:30 AM; verification closes at 10:30 AM
   • Venue: Division of Agronomy, ICAR-IARI, Pusa, New Delhi
3. Document Verification:
   • Original documents must be presented for verification at the time of the interview.

How to Apply:

1. Online Application Form:
   • Complete the application form available at ICAR-IARI Application Form by January 26, 2025.
2. Required Documents:
   • Scanned copies of:
     • Educational certificates and mark sheets (10th, 12th, UG, PG).
     • Proof of experience, if any.
     • Publications and research work details (if applicable).
3. On the Interview Day:
   • Bring two hard copies of the filled application form (Annexure I & II), two passport-sized photographs, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates.

General Instructions:

• The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• Age relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates as per government norms.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Candidates must not conceal facts or attempt canvassing, as this will lead to disqualification.
