The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) XII. This recruitment drive aims to fill various positions in participating RRBs across India.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality/Citizenship:

• A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit:

• Officer Scale I: 18-30 years
• Officer Scale II: 21-32 years
• Officer Scale III: 21-40 years
• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18-28 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

3. Educational Qualifications:

• Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Officer Scale II: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference will be given to candidates having a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.
• Officer Scale III: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Application Fee:

Officer (Scale I, II & III):

• ₹850 for General/OBC candidates,
• ₹175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• ₹850 for General/OBC candidates,
• ₹175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

Selection Process:

1. Preliminary Examination (for Officer Scale I and Office Assistant):
   • Objective-type questions covering Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
2. Main Examination:
   • Objective-type questions covering Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge.
3. Interview:
   • Applicable for Officer Scale I, II, and III.
4. Provisional Allotment:
   • Based on the candidate’s performance in the Main Examination and Interview.
