The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites unmarried Indian male and female candidates to participate in the IAF Agniveervayu Musician Recruitment Rally 2025 as part of the Agnipath Scheme Intake 01/2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Agniveervayu Musician vacancy from April 21, 2025, to May 11, 2025.

IAF Agniveervayu Musician Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for Agniveervayu (Musician) in the Indian Air Force Band for 4 years under the Agnipath Scheme. Exact vacancies are not provided in the Agniveervayu Musician Recruitment 2025 notification.

Agniveervayu Musician Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit

• Born between: 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive)
• Upper age on enrolment: Should not exceed 21 years

Educational Qualification

• Passed Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board

Musical Experience (Any one of the following)

• Grade 5 or above from recognized music institutes (TCL, RSM, KM Conservatory, etc.)
• Diploma in Hindustani/Carnatic Music from a recognized university
• Certificate of participation/award in recognized events

Physical Standards

• Height: 162 cm (male), 152 cm (female); relaxations for NE & hilly regions
• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm

Agniveervayu Musician Selection Process:

1. Proficiency Test in musical instruments (solo or group)

2. English Written Test (30 minutes, 30 questions—matriculation level, no negative marking)

3. Adaptability Test-I (AT-I) – Objective test assessing suitability for varied IAF conditions

4. Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

   • 1.6 Km run: Within 7 mins (male), 8 mins (female)

   • Push-ups/Sit-ups/Squats: As per gender-specific norms

5. Adaptability Test-II (AT-II): Adaptability to military lifestyle

6. Medical Examination—Detailed health and fitness checkup in July 2025

IAF Agniveervayu Musician Vacancy 2025 Application Fee:

• Registration/Application Fee: ₹100/-

• Additional Charges: GST applicable (as per prevailing rates)
