• Assistant Professor (Nephrology)

• Professor (Anaesthesia)
  • Vacancies: 1 (Unreserved)
  • Pay Scale: Pay Level 31 (₹1,48,800–₹2,18,600)
• Professor (Ophthalmology)
  • Vacancies: 1 (Unreserved)
  • Pay Scale: Pay Level 31 (₹1,48,800–₹2,18,600)

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

1. Assistant Professor (Nephrology):
   • Recognized medical qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956/National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
   • D.M. in Nephrology (2/3 years course) or equivalent after M.D. (Medicine).
   • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident in Nephrology.
2. Professor (Anaesthesia & Ophthalmology):
   • Recognized medical qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956/National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
   • M.D./M.S. in the respective specialty or equivalent.
   • For Anaesthesia: F.F.A.R.C.S. or equivalent qualifications.
   • For Ophthalmology: F.R.C.S. or Specialty Board of Ophthalmology (U.S.A.).
   • At least 4 years as Associate Professor or a total of 10 years of teaching experience after post-graduation.

Desirable Qualifications for All Positions:

1. Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
2. Research publications in indexed national and international journals.

Age Limit:

• Assistant Professor: Up to 45 years.
• Professor: Up to 50 years.
• Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PwBD and eligible candidates of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process:

1. Assistant Professor (Nephrology):
   • Screening Test (CBT/Offline), Subject Aptitude Test, and Personality Test.
2. Professors (Anaesthesia & Ophthalmology):
   • Direct Personality Test for eligible candidates.
