HPCET (Common Entrance Test) 2025

The HPCET (Common Entrance Test) 2025 is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU), Hamirpur, for admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in technical and professional courses for the academic session 2025–26. Eligible candidates can apply for HPCET 2025 from 31 January 2025  to 18 April 2025.

HPCET (Common Entrance Test) 2025 Overview:

HPCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the Himachal Pradesh Technical University Admission 2025, candidates must possess the following:

1. B.Tech (Direct Entry): 10+2 with Physics & Maths + 1 other subject (min 45% / 40% for reserved)
2. B.Pharmacy: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry + Maths/Biology, min 45% marks
3. B.Sc. (HM & CT)/BHMCT: 10+2 in any stream with min 45% (40% for reserved categories)
4. MBA/MBA (T&HM): Graduation with min 50% (45% for reserved categories)
5. MCA: Any degree with Maths at 10+2 or degree level, min 50% (45% for reserved)
6. M.Sc. Physics: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Maths with 50% aggregate
7. M.Sc. Environmental Sci.: Bachelor’s in science/engineering/medical with min 50% (45% for reserved)

HPCET 2025 Exam Pattern:

B.Tech/B.Pharmacy:

• Duration: 3 hours, 15 minutes
• Maximum marks: 600 (150 questions × 4 marks each)
• Negative marking: -1 for each incorrect answer.

MBA / MCA / MBA (T&HM):

• Duration: 2 hours
• Total marks: 300 (75 questions × 4 marks each)

B.Sc. (HM & CT)/BHMCT/M.Sc. Physics/M.Sc. Environmental Sci.:

• Duration: 2 hours
• Total marks: 300 (100 questions × 1 mark each)
