The Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced 02 vacancies for the post of Laboratory Technician (Class 3) under the GSSSB Recruitment 2025 notification for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The GSSSB Laboratory Technician Notification 2025 is released on 07 June 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the GSSSB Laboratory Technician vacancy from June 10, 2025, to June 17, 2025. 

GSSSB Lab Technician Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 02 vacant posts under the GSSSB Recruitment 2025 Notification. The 02 Laboratory Technician (class 3) vacancies are reserved for various categories. To get the category-wise vacancy details, refer to the GSSSB Laboratory Technician Notification 2025.

GSSSB Laboratory Technician Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the GSSSB Laboratory Technician (Class 3) Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university.
• Have passed the Laboratory Technician Course recognized by the government or MCI.
• Possess basic computer knowledge.

Age Limit (as on 17-06-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 36 years

GSSSB Lab Technician Inspector Selection Process:

The selection process for laboratory technicians consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination

2. Document Verification

3. Final Merit List

GSSSB Laboratory Technician Exam Pattern 2025:

• Total: 210 Questions
• Duration: 180 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

Sectional Distribution:

Part A: Aptitude Test (60 Marks)

• Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation—30 marks

• Reasoning—30 marks

Part B: Subject Knowledge & General Awareness (150 Marks)

• Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension—30 marks

• Laboratory Technician Subject—120 marks
