The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) invites online applications for the Junior Inspector (Class-3) posts under a special recruitment drive for differently-abled candidates. GSSSB Junior Inspector Vacancy 2025 Details:
The total number of vacancies for junior inspectors is distributed among different disability categories as follows:

GSSSB Junior Inspector Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess:
- Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics as a main subject) OR a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
- OR a Second Class Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution, along with 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.
Age Limit (as of 25th April 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for differently abled candidates.
GSSSB Junior Inspector Selection Process:
The selection for junior inspectors will be based on a competitive written exam with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), conducted in CBRT/OMR mode.
Exam Pattern:
- Part A (General Aptitude—60 Marks)
- Part B (Subject Knowledge & General Awareness—150 Marks)
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

- Click on “Apply Online” and select “GSSSB Junior Inspector Recruitment”.
- Fill out the online application form with accurate details.
- Upload a recent passport-size photo and signature (JPG format, max size: 15 KB).
