The Gauhati High Court invites online applications from eligible candidates for 22 vacancies in Grade III of the Assam Judicial Service. This recruitment aims to appoint qualified law graduates as civil judges to strengthen the judicial system in Assam.

Gauhati High Court Grade-III Recruitment 2025 Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 22 vacant posts under the following categories:

• Pay Scale: ₹77,840 – ₹1,36,520 per month + allowances

Gauhati High Court Grade-III Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification

   • Must hold a degree in law from a recognized university in India.

2. Age Limit (as of the last date of application—03 March 2025)

   • For General/OBC candidates: Maximum 38 years
   • For SC/ST candidates: Maximum of 43 years
   • For PwBD candidates: Upper age relaxation of 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBD candidates).

3. Nationality

   • Must be an Indian citizen as per Articles 5 & 6 of the Indian Constitution.

4. Other Conditions

   • Candidates must provide true and correct information in the application form.
   • Suppression of material facts or submission of false documents will lead to disqualification.

Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

The recruitment process for Grade III of Assam Judicial Services consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Screening Test)

• Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Marks: 100
• Qualifying Criteria:
  • Candidates securing 60% or more marks in the prelims will be eligible for the Main written examination.
  • SC/ST Candidates: Minimum 50% required.

2. Main Written Examination

• Total Papers: 5
• Total Marks: 450
• Qualifying Criteria:
  • General Candidates: 60% aggregate in the Main Exam + at least 45% in each paper + 35% in the language paper.
  • SC/ST Candidates: 50% aggregate + 40% in each paper + 35% in the language paper.

3. Viva Voce (Interview)

• Total Marks: 50
• Qualifying Marks: A minimum of 60% is required in the interview.
• Final Merit List: Based on Main Exam + Viva Voce marks.

2. Fill the Application Form:

• Log in using your registration code & date of birth.
• Enter personal, educational, and experience details and upload documents.

3. Payment of Application Fee:

• Download Fee Payment Challan.
• Pay the fee after two working days at any State Bank of India (SBI) branch.

4. Final Submission:

• Log in again after two working days and verify payment details.
• Download & print the application form and acknowledgment receipt.
