GAIL (India) Limited, a premier natural gas company, is seeking a qualified General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) to serve on a temporary contract basis. The role involves providing medical services at the Occupational Health Centre in our Vaghodia LPG Recovery Plant.

Salary:

₹93,000 per month (with an annual increment of ₹2,800 upon contract renewal)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical assistance and oversee healthcare services at the Occupational Health Centre.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Conduct routine health examinations and respond to medical emergencies at the facility.

Qualifications:

• Essential: MBBS with completed internship and registration with the Medical Council of India.
• Preferred: Additional qualification in Industrial Medicine, such as a Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Health (minimum of 3 months’ training).

Experience:

• Post-qualification experience in a similar role is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: ₹93,000.
• Increment: ₹2,800 annual increment with contract renewal.
• Personal Accident Insurance: ₹12 lakhs coverage.
• Family Floater Insurance: ₹5 lakhs for self, spouse, and two dependents.
• OPD Expenses: Reimbursement of ₹1,000 per month for medicines.
• Leave: 12 Casual Leaves and 12 Paid Leaves per year, plus maternity benefits as per Maternity Benefits Act, 1961.
• Travel Allowance: Entitled to E-2 level TA/DA for official travel.

Contract Terms:

• Initial one-year contract with potential extension based on performance, up to a maximum of three years.
• Notice period of 30 days required for contract termination from either side.
