Applications are invited for 08 posts of Stenographer Grade-III (English) on a purely adhoc basis for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, whichever is earlier.

Pay Scale:

₹25,500/- per month (minimum pay scale of the post).

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Essential Qualification:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent from a recognized university.
   • Must pass a shorthand test at:
     • 80 words per minute (WPM) in English shorthand.
     • 20 words per minute (WPM) in transcription on a computer.
   • Proficiency in the operation of computers (word processing and spreadsheets).
2. Age Limit:
   • Minimum Age: 18 years
   • Maximum Age: 42 years (as of 01.01.2024).
   • Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Haryana Government norms.
3. Domicile:
   • Candidates must fulfill Haryana domicile requirements for claiming reservations.

Selection Process:

1. Shorthand and Typing Test:
   • Candidates must qualify in the English shorthand and transcription tests.
   • Those who qualify will undergo a computer proficiency test.
2. Important Instructions:
   • Bring original identity proof at the time of the shorthand test.
   • No separate call letters will be issued for the tests.
   • Test schedules will be uploaded on the official website.
3. TA/DA:
   • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the tests.
