Educational Qualifications

Graduate Apprentices

• Qualification: Engineering Degree (B.Tech/BE) in the following disciplines:
  • Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Safety & Fire Engineering
• Eligibility:
  • Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination for general category candidates.
  • Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • Engineering degree must be completed within the last three years as of March 31, 2025.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Engineering in the following disciplines:
  • Chemical
  • Computer
  • Civil
  • Electrical / Electrical & Electronics
  • Instrumentation / Instrument Technology / Electronics & Instrumentation
  • Mechanical
  • Commercial Practice
• Eligibility:
  • Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination for general category candidates.
  • Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • Diploma must be completed within the last three years as of March 31, 2025.

Selection Process

The selection process for the FACT Graduate & Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is as follows:

• Merit List Preparation:
  • Graduate Apprentices: The merit list will be based on 50% of the marks obtained in the Graduate Degree and 50% from the 12th standard examination.
  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying diploma examination and the SSLC/Equivalent examination.
• Document Verification:
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification to confirm their eligibility and qualifications.
• Final Selection:
  • The final selection will be based on the merit list and successful verification of documents.
