Exam Pattern Overview
The examination consists of multiple stages, including Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All stages are mandatory for qualification. Below are the details of each stage:
Paper-I Structure

Important Notes
- Objective Multiple Choice questions will be set in both Hindi and English for Parts-I, II, and III of Paper-I.
- A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer in both Paper-I and Paper-II.
- Scores obtained from the Computer-Based Examination will be normalized, and these normalized scores will determine the final merit and cut-off marks.
Answer Keys and Representation
- Tentative Answer Keys will be uploaded on the official website after the examination.
- Candidates can submit representations regarding the answer keys within the stipulated time, subject to a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100 per question.
- The Commission will finalize the Answer Keys after scrutinizing all valid representations. No further correspondence will be entertained after finalization.
NCC Certificate Holders – Bonus Marks
Candidates holding National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates as of 01.08.2024 will be awarded bonus marks in both Paper-I and Paper-II as follows:
