Exam Pattern of SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2024

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for the positions of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to work in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

Scheme of Examination:

13.1 The details of the Computer-Based Examination are as follows:

13.2 The question paper will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be available in both English and Hindi.

13.3 A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer in the Computer-Based Examination. Candidates should consider this while attempting the questions.

13.4 If the examination is conducted in multiple shifts, the scores will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission (Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019). These normalized scores will determine the final merit and cut-off marks.

13.5 Tentative Answer Keys for the Computer-Based Examination will be made available on the Commission’s website after the examination. Candidates can review the Answer Keys and submit online representations, if any, within the specified time frame, with a fee of Rs. 100/- per question. This fee is non-refundable. Representations submitted through any other means (letter, application, email, etc.) will not be considered. Expert scrutiny will be conducted for representations, and the Commission’s decision on the final Answer Keys will be binding.

13.6 There will be no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores for any stage or paper(s) of the Examination. No correspondence on this matter will be entertained.
