ESIC invites applications from eligible candidates under the Disclosure Lists of Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2022 & 2023 conducted by UPSC for the post of Insurance Medical Officer (Grade-II). This is an opportunity to join ESIC Hospitals/Dispensaries and serve the nation in providing quality medical services.

Applications are invited for a total of 608 vacant posts.

Pay Scale:

• Level-10 in the Pay Matrix: ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500
• Additional Benefits:
  • Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA)

  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Transport Allowance

Job Locations:

The selected candidates may be posted in ESIC hospitals/dispensaries across India, including:
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• MBBS degree included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Candidates holding qualifications in Part II of the Third Schedule must meet the conditions specified under Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Completion of Compulsory Rotating Internship.
  • Candidates who have not completed their internship may apply, provided they complete it before appointment.

2. Age Limit:

• Maximum Age:
  • CMSE 2022 Candidates: Not exceeding 35 years as of 26 April 2022.
  • CMSE 2023 Candidates: Not exceeding 35 years as of 09 May 2023.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Other relaxations as per Government norms.

3. Nationality:

• Indian Citizen or as per eligibility norms mentioned in the official notification.

Selection Process:

1. Merit-Based Selection:

• Based on the marks obtained in CMSE 2022 & CMSE 2023 Disclosure Lists.

2. Merit List Preparation:

• Separate lists will be prepared for CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023 candidates.
• Candidates from CMSE 2022 will be placed higher in rank than those from CMSE 2023.

3. Document Verification:

• Candidates must provide proof of eligibility, such as educational certificates, CMSE roll number, and final marks.
