Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. ESIC is recruiting Assistant Professors across various medical specialities with 287 vacancies on a direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates with MD/MS/DNB/MDS/Ph.D. and 3 years of teaching experience can apply for this prestigious opportunity.

Vacancies:

Applications are invited for a total of 287 vacant posts.

Job Location:

ESIC PGIMSRs (Post Graduate Institutes of Medical Sciences & Research) and ESIC Medical Colleges across India.

Pay Scale:

• Pay Level-11: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances as per rules.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age Limit:

• Not exceeding 40 years as on the closing date of application.
• Age relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD: 10 years
  • Others as per government norms.

2. Educational Qualification:

For Broad Specialties:

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years teaching experience as Senior Resident/Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned speciality.

For Dentistry:

• MDS in the respective subject or allied discipline with at least 3 years teaching experience.

For Non-Medical Specialties (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry):

• Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years teaching experience after obtaining Ph.D.

Selection Process:

• Interview: Selection will be based on a personal interview conducted by the Selection Board.
• Minimum Marks:
  • UR/EWS: 50 marks
  • OBC: 45 marks
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹500/-
• SC/ST/PwD/Female/Ex-Servicemen/ESIC Employees: Exempted
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favor of “ESI Fund Account No. II”, payable at Faridabad.
